Come for a fun week of art camp!
June 9th-12th, we will be exploring lots of different art forms- from painting and drawing, to mixed media, clay, and more! All of this will be inspired by the real-life astronaut and artist, Alan Bean. We will be reading about his art in the book called, “The Astronaut that Painted the Moon,” and experimenting with materials just like he did! We will even be creating our very own space hologram!
There are 2 sessions available based on ages.
Session one: Ages 4-6 from 10:00-11:00
Session two: Ages 7-15 from 12:00-2:00
Parents are welcome to stay, but encouraged to leave your child for the duration of the class-if you are comfortable with it! Art camps are taught by Mrs. Presley. A certified art teacher at WCHS with a masters degree in art education.
